Community Outreach
Finding ways to give back can be challenging while focusing on family. We organize opportunities to impact our community and teach our children compassion.
Each month, we create a calendar of events highlighting various activities for our community. This includes events from the library, local groups, and Wethersfield Moms Group. Whether it's storytime at the library, a chance for community service, or a playdate with other moms, our calendar is a helpful guide to what Wethersfield offers. We encourage everyone to get involved and explore the many ways to connect and enjoy our lively community.

Each of our committees has a budget that is determined from dues collected and budgeted year to year. The committees use their budgets to keep the cost of events at little to nothing for our members. Membership dues cover the cost of things such as: venue deposits or reservations, food and refreshments for members at events, arts and crafts, small gifts or prizes, donations to food drives, and school supply drives. We also use our budget to make two charitable community donations each year, as well as host a community Touch-A-Truck event. Prospective members are invited to attend up to two club meetings before becoming a member.

We host around 5-10 private group events a month. This can include playdates, community meet ups at the park or library, Moms’ Night Out, Book Club, or special seasonal, holiday or committee events. In our monthly calendar we organize events by private events for our members and community events hosted by local organizations in town. It is our goal to offer a variety of opportunities for moms, children, and their families to join together including scheduling playgroups, providing parent education, coordinating recreational activities and having social outings.
