Meet the board
Alissa Goodwin
Alissa is our president of Mom's Group! She has three children, Martin, Aliza and Blake. She was previously a Pre-School Teacher before becoming a Stay-at-Home Mom. When she’s not in Mom mode, she loves being outside in all New England seasons but especially summer and being at the beach. In her spare time she likes watching Bravo TV and reading- a healthy balance! Alissa was born and raised in Wethersfield and is passionate about giving back to the community. She thought there was no better way to start than by getting involved in the mom’s group where she can use her passion to serve children and families, as well as her desire to be involved in the community where she is raising her family. Her children are third generation “townies” and seeing Wethersfield continue to thrive and grow as she raises her own family here now is one of her top priorities!
PRESIDENT
Molly Weyers
Molly is the vice president of the Moms Group! Molly has two children, Jude and Jovy. She is the owner of Peaceful and Prenatal and teaches yoga classes for pregnancy, postpartum, babies, toddlers and children. She's fluent in English, ASL, and Italian and loves to travel with her family. She loves time outside, a good laugh, and reading. Community is at the core her being and this is something she strives to bring to all new members of this group!
VICE PRESIDENT

Ashley Lindsey serves as Treasurer of Wethersfield Moms Group. ethersfield Moms Group! She is a proud mama of three boys - Camden (4), Grayson (2.5) and newborn Braeden. She and her husband, Joe, have called Wethersfield home for several years and love being part of such a welcoming community. Ashley works from home full-time, is a certified personal trainer and loves reading. She also serves on the board for Glastonbury Little League, where her love of baseball shines! Her favorite part of WMG is building lifelong friendships, creating lasting memories, and supporting fellow mamas through every stage of motherhood!
TREASURER
Carrie Marcoux
Carrie is the new secretary of the Mom’s group! She is the proud mama to Grant and Emmelyn. A high school Social Studies teacher for most of the year, she now especially looks forward to summers so she can spend more time with her kids! Originally from Simsbury, Carrie and her husband fell in love with historic Wethersfield and decided to settle there a few years ago. In her spare time you can catch her reading, walking the neighborhood, and planning her next trip.
SECRETARY
Allison Brophy
Allison is the friendly face behind your welcome e-mails as our Membership director! She lives in Old Wethersfield with her daughter, Caroline. Originally from Glastonbury, Allison spent several years living in Philadelphia before returning home to New England. When she’s not at home kissing her daughter’s “boo-boos,” she works full-time as an emergency department nurse. Off shift, you can find her enjoying the outdoors or planning her next DIY project. Through her journey of motherhood, she is incredibly grateful to have found such a supportive community of strong women in this group.
